Description

This clinical course builds on the concepts presented in NUR 101. Major emphasis is on the individual's deviations from health and use of the nursing process and caring concepts in assisting the patient in adapting to stressors and in regaining or maintaining homeostasis. Opportunities are available for the student to use the nursing process in caring for selected adult patients with deviations from health. An additional fee is required.
Prerequisites: NUR 101, BIO 211 and CHM 113.
Prerequisite or corequisite: BIO 312.
