    Description

This clinical course assists the student to develop an evidence-based nursing practice that utilizes enhanced clinical judgment through analysis of the client?s health status, evaluation of client outcomes, and the revision of individualized plans of care to more effectively support client/family adaptation. The student gathers client data and integrates findings into his/her decision-making process to positively affect client outcomes. Emphasis is also on developing effective communication with the interdisciplinary team, practicing appropriate delegation, documenting through electronic records, and applying legal and ethical standards to the care of the adult client/family.
