How to Log on to the DWU Network

  1. Press the Control, Alt, and Delete keys simultaneously when the initial logon screen appears.
  2. In the user name line, type your user name (the first two letters of your first name followed by up to six letters of your last name).
  3. In the password line, type your password (Your initial temporary password will be given to you by the HR Director.  You will be prompted to change this on your first login.  Once you have changed your password you will use the password you have chosen.)
  4. The domain line should read DWU. If it does not, click on the Down Arrow located at the end of the line and choose DWU.
  5. Hit the Enter key on your keyboard or choose OK in the logon box to logon to the network.
How to Log on to TigerNet

  1. In the user name area, type your user name (the first two letters of your first name followed by up to six letters of your last name)
  2. In the password area, type your password (Your initial temporary password will be given to you by the HR Director.  Once you have changed your password you will use the password you have chosen.)
  3. Click the 'Login' button.
Changing your password using a DWU computer

  1. Log on to a DWU computer.
  2. Once the computer is done loading, press the Control, Alt, and Delete keys simultaneously.
  3. Choose the 'Change Password' option.
  4. In the 'Old Password' line type your current password.
  5. In the 'New Password' line, type what you would like your new password to be.
  6. Confirm your new password by retyping in the 'Confirm New Password'line and choose 'OK'.
  7. You should then receive a prompt saying that your password has been successfully changed.
  8. You can now log into your DWU accounts (includes DWU computers, TigerNet, E-mail, the library resources and Digital DWU) with your new password.
Changing your password through TigerNet
 
  1. Log into TigerNet using your current password.
  2. Choose the 'Change Password' option (which is appears in the upper right hand corner next to "Welcome back")
  3. In the 'Old Password' line type your current password.
  4. In the 'New Password' line, type what you would like your new password to be.
  5. Confirm your new password by retyping in the 'Confirm New Password'line and choose 'OK'.
  6. You should then receive a prompt saying that your password has been successfully changed.
  7. You can now log into your DWU accounts (includes DWU computers, TigerNet, E-mail, the library resources and Digital DWU) with your new password.
