Through DWU campus agreements, software packages from Microsoft (such as Windows and Office) and Adobe (such as Creative Suite) have been made available to students, faculty and staff at reduced prices. Formerly, these software packages were available for purchase in the campus bookstore. The software store has now been moved online and is located at http://dwu.onthehub.com. Some titles are available for instant download and some are delivered by mail order.
To purchase software from the store you must be a current student that has finalized for the current semester. (You are not considered a current student during the breaks between semesters - for example the break between fall and spring semester, or during the summer break). All users will be required to log into the store with their network username and password to purchase software.
DWU Software Store
When purchasing either Microsoft or Adobe products from the online store the student agrees that the software is being purchased to be used as a current student and when they leave Dakota Wesleyan University they relinquish their license to that software and must uninstall the product.
How many downloads of the software can a student install?
Adobe software can only be installed on one machine.
Microsoft Office can be installed as follows:
"Install and use a copy of the software on one personal computer or other device; and install an additional copy of the software on a second, portable device for the exclusive use
of the primary user of the first copy of the software."
Microsoft Windows software is a one use download and cannot be used on multiple computers.
